Dalmatino and Marko Tolja are coming to GinIstra

Rovinj is preparing to become the centre of the domestic and regional gin scene again this autumn — preparations for the fourth edition of GinIstra, the largest international festival dedicated to gin, are in full swing. The festival will take place on 17 and 18 October 2025 in the impressive setting of the Old Tobacco Factory, with organisers announcing an exceptionally rich and varied programme that will combine education, experience, networking and fun alongside a top-tier atmosphere.

Over the two days of the festival, visitors can look forward to numerous talks, panel discussions, workshops and masterclasses led by renowned panellists from industry, academia and the public sector. This year's educational programme will focus on European legislative frameworks, with particular attention to EU directives concerning the production of alcoholic beverages, market regulation and product labelling.

Topics such as innovation in production, sustainable business models, the tourism potential of distilleries and regional branding through the craft scene will also be discussed. GinIstra thus confirms its role as an expert platform and a place for exchanging knowledge and experience.

This year's edition of GinIstra will also be accompanied by a highly attractive music programme. On Friday, 17 October, the popular band Dalmatino will take the stage, while on Saturday, 18 October, Marko Tolja will further complete the festival atmosphere.

As a reminder, last year's edition of GinIstra brought together 47 exhibitors, and thousands of visitors enjoyed more than a hundred gin labels, education, tastings and socialising in a festival atmosphere.
