Rovinj hosts GinIstra again this autumn: applications open for the anniversary 5th edition of the gin and spirits festival
Rovinj will once again become an unmissable destination this autumn for all lovers of premium spirits. On 23 and 24 October, at the Old Tobacco Factory, the fifth edition of GinIstra — the gin and spirits festival — will take place, confirming year after year its status as one of the most attractive specialised events in the region.
Organisers proudly point out that this is the anniversary fifth edition of a festival that keeps growing, both in the number of exhibitors and in the quality of its programme and international character. Last year's edition brought together more than 30 exhibitors and showcased as many as 60 types of gin from seven European countries and New Zealand, once again confirming Rovinj's position on the map of premium food-and-drink events.
This year GinIstra brings an even richer programme. Visitors can look forward to numerous panels, workshops and educational talks aimed at both industry professionals and the wider public eager for new knowledge and experiences. The focus will be on trends in gin and spirits production, innovations in distilling, and market and brand development.
Special emphasis is also placed on the overall festival experience, which this year will again be complemented by a top-tier food offering and entertainment programme. The combination of premium drinks, food and music creates a unique atmosphere that makes GinIstra more than a festival — a true experience for all the senses.
Ahead of the new edition, applications for exhibitors are now open. All interested producers and distributors can apply by filling out the form available on the festival's official website, giving them the chance to present their products to the public and industry professionals.
Rovinj is once again becoming the centre of the world of gin and spirits this autumn, and GinIstra confirms its role as a platform connecting producers, experts and lovers of this increasingly popular drink category, while continuously raising the quality and standard of the festival experience.
